Trade Point

I put up this quick video walkthrough for the Trade for Flaxoil Elite quest in Age of Empires online. It is a really easy quest to complete and is the best low level quest in terms of experience points offered per hour. If you feel like any of the story quests are too hard for you or are really close to getting access to a great advisor or item, you can always do this quest a few times to get a quick level up. The walkthrough is simple: – No advisors required, but you do need to unlock the market and caravan unit (Age II; Utility tree) – Start out with 4 Villagers, build no more. – Put 3 Villagers on Wood, 1 Villager on gold. – Stop Harvesting gold @ 125 and set all Villagers to gathering wood. – Research Age II – Build a Market, keep harvesting wood. – Train 2 Caravans. – Sacrifice your caravan at each trade point. – If you lose too many Caravans, Use your Scout to distract if necessary or train additional units. You have quite a bit of time before the computer attacks. That’s it – an easy 10k+ experience points in just 5 minutes. You can always do the quest on non-elite mode if the elite enemies are giving you a lot of trouble.
